Overview

This website is operated by Cozy Sips. Throughout the Site, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Cozy Sips. By visiting our Site or purchasing something from us, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have a guardian's consent) to make a purchase on this Site.

Products & Pricing

We do our best to display accurate product images, descriptions, and prices. Because coffee is a small-batch agricultural product, flavor profiles and appearance vary by harvest — we may update product details without notice. Prices are listed in US dollars and may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.

Orders & Payment

We accept the payment methods offered at checkout (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal). Payment is processed securely by Shopify Payments. We don't see or store your full card number.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues. If we cancel an order after you've been charged, we'll issue a full refund.

Shipping

We ship to the US, Canada, the UK, EU, Australia, and New Zealand. Coffee is roasted on Wednesday and shipped on Thursday. Most US orders arrive in 2–5 business days; international orders in 7–14 business days.

Customs duties and import taxes for international orders are the buyer's responsibility.

Returns & Refunds

If your order arrives damaged or you're unhappy with the product for any reason, reply to your order confirmation email within 14 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement or refund — your choice.

We don't accept returns of opened food products for safety reasons, but we'll always make it right if something went wrong.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are not yet available. When we launch them (later in 2026), they'll be governed by additional terms displayed at signup. Subscriptions will be pausable, skippable, and cancellable from your account dashboard — no phone calls, no retention scripts.

Cause Commitment

We commit to donating a portion of monthly profits to animal welfare organizations (currently the ASPCA, Best Friends Animal Society, and local shelters). The percentage varies as the business grows. We publish the actual numbers monthly on our impact page.

We don't make any specific legal claim that "X% of every order goes to charity" in a contractual sense — we make a commitment to transparency and to publishing real numbers. Our impact page is the source of truth.

Intellectual Property

The Site and all content (text, graphics, logos, images, blog posts, recipes) are the property of Cozy Sips or our content creators and are protected by US and international copyright laws. You may share our blog posts and product descriptions with attribution, but please don't reproduce them in bulk.

Limitation of Liability

Cozy Sips is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any product purchase is limited to the purchase price of that product.

Third-Party Services

The Site relies on third-party services to operate. Each has its own terms and privacy policy governing its handling of your data:

Shopify — store hosting, checkout, and payment processing
Meta (Facebook & Instagram) — publishing content to our Facebook Page and Instagram Business account, and reading advertising performance data
USPS / UPS / DHL — shipping and delivery

We choose providers whose practices are consistent with this policy, but we are not responsible for the independent practices of these third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
